FIFA 15 Share Ultimate Team server maintenance sessions today

The process began at 8.30am Pacific Time (4.30pm in the UK) and is scheduled to last roughly three hours. But you know how these things can go, so FIFA 15’s Ultimate Team portion may not return at 11.30am/7.30pm on the dot.

Update: As you may have expected, the maintenance has been extended to 2pm Pacific/10pm UK.

Update 2: It should be back now. Rest of the original story follows.

This maintenance session also affects the web app and mobile apps. You won’t be able to use those either while this is going on. EA isn’t giving any precise details about what this maintenance entails, so it’s probably safe to assume they’re not introducing new transfer market features or anything.

The official post about today’s FIFA 15 Ultimate Team down time can be read here. It’s not terribly exciting, though. Here’s a twitter post to match.

Hummels Say I would only leave Borussia Dortmund

The 26-year-old’s BVB contract runs until 2017, but he has long been courted by the Red Devils, whose manager Louis van Gaal is looking for a defensive leader.

The Germany centre-back told Monday’s edition of Kicker that he “often thinks about moving abroad”, but gave Tuesday’s instalment of Bild a far stronger indication of his Manchester thoughts.

“If I was to transfer abroad at some stage, then it would only be to Manchester United,” Hummels said.

Hummels’ agent, his father Hermann, is a friend of Van Gaal from when they both worked at Bayern Munich, where Hummels senior was youth team co-ordinator until 2012, while Van Gaal was head coach from 2009 until 2011.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke revealed the club captain informed them he is weighing up his options.

“Mats had a conversation with [director of sport] Michael Zorc and myself two weeks ago, when he informed us that he is thinking about his future,” said Watzke. “That is completely legitimate. He has a contract until 2017 and we haven’t received an offer, therefore we’re pretty relaxed.”

FIFA 15 Share Daniel Butenko dominates in Cologne

In a performance reminiscent of Germany against Brazil in the semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™, Daniel Butenko slotted six goals past Mirza Jahic to win the Final match of the Germany Live Qualification Event for FIWC 2015.

“I was really nervous, because I am very young,” the winner told FIFA.com shortly after winning the final, “they all know each other and are really experienced. I was definitely the underdog today.”

As the host nation live event winner, 15-year-old Butenko has received a seat at the FIWC 2015 Grand Final in Munich, which will take place from 17 to 19 May. At the Grand Final, 20 players will compete for the interactive world title, USD 20,000 and a trip to the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2015.

A day to remember

Butenko employed Real Madrid to devastating effect, scoring six and conceding none on his way to the German final. First to fall against Butenko was 33-year old Sebastian Huber from Salzgitter. The youngster scored four goals past his older opponent to win and progress to the semi-finals. Riding the adrenaline from an impressive quarter-final win, Savas Destan Oglu attacked Butenko from the very start of their semi-final. Savas rattled the bar after just eight minutes of virtual time and seemed the favourite to secure victory. Butenko had other plans, scoring after 19 minutes to take the lead and then again shortly before the final whistle to secure a place in the day’s Final.

Jahic’s journey

In both his matches en route to the final, Mirza Jahic would first concede and then climb back to win. The 24-year-old self-defence instructor and reigning Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) champion started his day with a quarterfinal against 2013 VBL champion Kevin Assia. Jahic would concede in the first half, but draw level in the second. The game was settled late into extra-time, when Jahic sent an impeccable cross into the net with a powerful header. Jahic sighed heavily in relief as the final whistle blew and match commentator Leigh Smith summed up the game: “very close defensive work, great attacking work and clearly a tense, tense match between these two players,” he said. Jahic would win his second match of the day more comfortably to position himself one victory away from his first ever Grand Final appearance.

The final

The 24-year-old reigning Virtual Bundesliga champion against a 15-year old from Neumarkt-Sankt Veit, this was to be the unexpected finale to the Germany Live Event. A goal after just 10 minutes confirmed Jahic’s status as the favourite. However, Butenko shook off some early nerves and levelled the game after 30-minutes. Five minutes later, Butenko scored again. Jahic countered almost instantly, scoring three minutes later to bring the match level at 2-2. Three minutes later, another goal! This time from Butenko after a back heel pass from Luka Modric set up Cristiano Ronaldo to score. Moments before the half-time whistle, Butenko struck again to take a 4-2 lead into the break. Jahic’s initial energy dissipated and the young underdog scored a fifth (52’) and finally a sixth goal (77‘) to mark the biggest upset of the day and win himself a seat at the Grand Final of the world’s largest gaming tournament.

Quarter-finals

Savas Destan Oglu (Chelsea) 2–0 Demis Durante (Real Madrid)

Daniel Butenko (Real Madrid) 4-0 Sebastian Huber (Real Madrid)

Erhan Kayman (Real Madrid) 3-1 Jan Zimmermann (Real Madrid)

Mirza Jahic (Real Madrid) 2-1 Kevin Assia (Real Madrid)

Semi-finals

Savas Destan Oglu (Chelsea) 0-2 Daniel Butenko (Real Madrid)

Erhan Kayman (Real Madrid) 1-3 Mirza Jahic (Real Madrid)

Final

Daniel Butenko (Real Madrid) 6-2 Mirza Jahic (Real Madrid)

To be successful you need to study the market

One of the best ways of accumulating a lot of coins is by buying cheap and selling expensive. For you to do this successfully you need to consider the following tips and FIFA 15 coins are important as they allow you to continue playing the game. They also allow you to buy the player that you want to add to your team. Due to the importance of the money, it’s important that you have as much as you can.

FIFA 15

Study the market carefully
You can’t trade by faith. For example, you can’t buy a card and hope that you will find someone willing to buy it a higher price. To be successful you need to study the market and find a price that is below the average price and from this predict the price that the demand is willing to offer.

For you to study the market you need to spend long hours analyzing it. You can also use specialized tools that are designed to aid in market study. To be on the safe side you need to consider a number of aspects in your study. Some of the aspects you need to consider include:

  • Price variations over the hours of the day and days of the week
  • Number of transactions made
  • Price behavior
  • Focus on a parcel market

For success to be on your side when trading FIFA 15 coins you need to focus on a given part of the market;you should not focus on the general market. You should choose a branch that you feel comfortable in. To be on the safe side you should gather as much information about it and keep yourself updated about the changes that are happening.

Always have something to sell
Just like a physical store, you need to have something that you are selling for you to make a profit. One of the things that you need to do is to ensure that the transfer list is always full. Every time you sell some cards you should replace them with new ones.

Tips and Tricks For FIFA 15 Pro Clubs

How FIFA 15 coins for next-gen consoles feels like soccer has finally arrived, and over the last couple of weeks since the game’s release I have been playing FIFA Pro Clubs with a group of online friends, and Leo. Along the way I have managed to pick up a few tips and tricks for those just beginning down the path of Pro Clubs.

fifa 15

Once a virtual pro’s stamina bar is lowered enough, the chance of injury increases significantly which can leave your team essentially down a man for a good couple of minutes of game time. Use your stamina wisely, however, and you will be able to gut tired opposition with dicing runs late in matches when goals are at a premium. It is also important to find your personal play style and niche within your team. Where do you excel on the pitch? This can change from match to match based on team needs. Just remember while scoring goals is important, defending and clearing balls from your own box is just as important if not more safe.

While weight and height play a role in determining your pro’s base stats, so too does the position you choose and the style of play you dictate for them. The more you defend, the more your defending accomplishments will rack up affording you extra points in various defending-related stats. The same holds true for attacking or even goal-keeping. Make sure to look at the various accomplishments so you are aware of what actions you need to take to bolster your player’s abilities.

The Year cards are now available from packs

The final batch of FIFA 15 Ultimate Team of the Year cards are now available from packs with FIFA 15 coins to get  the Year cards but for just 24 hours. With goalkeeper, defenders and midfielders already come and gone earlier in the week, it’s now the turn of the front line.

Ronaldo (LW), Messi (CF) and Robben (RW) will only be available for one day, which may for the best because their FIFA 15 Ultimate Team card stats are a bit mental.

Ronaldo is a 99(!) overall, with 98 Pace, 99 Shooting, 90 Passing, 99 Dribbling, 42 Defense and 89 Physical. Unsurprisingly, Messi isn’t far behind with a 98 overall rating and 97 Pace, 96 Shooting, 94 Passing, 99 Dribbling, 41 Defense and 72 Physical.

Robben is a relative slouch in contrast, with a 96 overall rating. His stats are 98 Pace, 95 Shooting, 90 Passing, 98 Dribbling, 40 Defense and 72 Physical.

So, you can probably look forward to any of those three being basically unstoppable in the right hands.

If you haven’t heard already, Neuer was chosen as the FIFA TOTY goalkeeper, while the defenders are Ramos, Lahm, Silva and Luiz. Some are saying that David Luiz is a surprise inclusion, as many thought that Alves may be selected again.

Elsewhere though, it is not really a surprise. There’s no Luiz Suarez which is controversial, but nobody can argue with the players that have been selected, especially the forwards.

Toty packs
Now, you have the chance to win the special new TOTY defenders and Neuer inside FIFA 15 packs. Players know Aussies launch bid to dethrone Japan

Australia will launch their attempt to reach new heights in football by toppling champions Japan and winning their first AFC Asian Cup when they kick off the tournament on Friday. It is also your happiness, then having some FIFA 15 coins to play in FIFA 15 to get excitment.

A sell-out crowd is expected at the 30,000-capacity Melbourne Rectangular Stadium as Ange Postecoglou’s men take on Kuwait on day one of the 16-nation extravaganza. An eventual victory for Australia would put the country on top at both club and international level after Western Sydney Wanderers won the AFC Champions League in November.

And it would provide a further boost for football among the Australian public, which traditionally prefers the rugby codes, Australian Rules football and cricket.

Four-time winners Japan are one of their main rivals, despite a match-fixing case swirling around their coach, and Carlos Queiroz’s Iran also look like top contenders. Korea Republic are looking to end a 55-year title drought, but the draw has been unkind to 2011 semi-finalists Uzbekistan who are likely to face the Koreans or Australia if they reach the quarter-finals.

Among the minnows, Palestine have overcome major hurdles to qualify for the first time, and Korea DPR are trying to escape the group stage for the first occasion since 1980.

Australia joined the Asian Football Confederation in 2006 but have yet to lift the region’s most coveted trophy, after being edged out by Japan in a gripping final in 2011.
